Rarely seen now, that is. They were all over like a rash once.
The first of the fwd Starlets, from 1988 (yes, the number is a clue). No signs of rust from this viewpoint, seemingly in daily use. When this was new there was still an East Germany and if you lived there you couldn’t easily have got to the West of the Iron Curtain. Then again, you could have bought a two stroke Trabi or Wartburg so it wasn’t all bad.
I wouldn’t have thought it would have been the ideal tow car, but there you go.

see a few of them every now and again... but yeah... they’re getting rare... things are too damn hoonable (not coz they’re fast... just coz they handle like they’re on rails right up to the point they dont handle at all) (alternatively put... to many idiots like me got their hands on em and hey it took the turn no probs at 60 yesterday.. 70 should be fine)

A Starlet free zone? No Micra either?
